The Hewitt Wellington Hotel Spring Lake, Spring Lake

The hotel was conveniently located three blocks from the ocean and directly across the street from the lake, offering a great spot for a small family or couple. The rooms, although in need of a facelift, provided ample space for the baby to play around, all at an affordable rate. The service was exceptional, with informative recommendations on restaurants and activities, although at times, the staff seemed unfamiliar with the surrounding areas.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were cozy and had a balcony overlooking the lake, just a stone's throw away from the beach. The service was friendly and efficient, and the location couldn't be better, with the ocean a few blocks away and a lovely lake right across the street. The dining options were decent, though breakfast could have had more fresh choices. Overall, a great value for the money.

The hotel was a mixed experience for me. While the rooms were stunningly decorated and very comfortable, the brightness at night was a little bothersome, especially when traveling with children. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster - while the front desk was friendly and helpful, housekeeping was a letdown with a not-so-clean room. The location, however, was a gem with easy access to the beach and shopping areas. The dining experience didn't quite meet my expectations, as breakfast was limited to pastries and coffee only. The facilities were decent overall.
